Introduction/Background
Å·ÃÀ¸ßÇå is seeking a certified licensed Contractor to provide labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision as more fully described below to be completed in an agreed upon time of being awarded the project. Current features of the job site are as follows:ÌýÌýÂ
General
The contractor shall furnish all submittals, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, scheduling and travel required to finish identified components for the Younge Hall HVAC Upgrade Project.
Location
The building where the work is to be performed: Younge Hall, Å·ÃÀ¸ßÇå, 1200 W. Montgomery Rd., Tuskegee, Alabama 36088.

Scope of Work Â
 Contractor to provide the necessary labor, materials, and expenses to replace (8) Air Handler Units (AHUs), replace (2) chilled water pumps (CHWP), replace (2) hot water pumps (HWP), replace (2) hot water boilers, and upgrade DDC Controls at the above location.
Mechanical Requirements:
Provide and install (8) new AHUs with the following features:
NOTE: All (8) new AHUs to have Global Plasma Solutions Bi Polar Ionization installed inside AHU to provide air purification.
Provide and install (2) new chilled water pumps with the following features:
Provide and install (2) new hot water pumps with the following features:
Provide and install (2) new hot water boiler with the following features:
Provide new starters for (2) CHWPs, (2) HWPs, and AHU #1.
Provide and install transition pieces as required to reconnect.
Provide and install (2) new inline exhaust fans to replace existing EF-1 and EF-2.
DDC CONTROLS:
DDC Control for Eight (8) New Air Handling Units (AHUs)
DDC Control of One Hundred and Eight (108) Dorm Room Terminal Units
DDC Control of Building CHW/HW System in Basement
New Tridium N4 Jace Graphical Webserver or Comparable System
Air Cooled Chiller Option:
Provide and install new Trane Air Cooled chiller with the following features;
Factory start up.
Conduct close out inspection with customer
Completion of Work
A. __Materials that cannot be removed daily shall be stored in areas specified by the PM.
B. __Contractor is responsible for daily clean-up.
C. __Contractor is responsible for repair cost incurred as a result of all damage to any facilities on TU.
D. __Contractor shall not allow accumulations of rubbish or debris in parking lots or on planted materials or grass.
E. __Contractor will provide training and operations of all new equipment and systems.
F. __Contractor will provide all start up documentation, manuals, close out documents, and warranty information.ÌýÌýÌýÌýÂ
 Payment Request Requirement
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Contractor promises and agrees that it will be responsible for all workmen employed or engaged by it in the performance of this contract, that it will comply with the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Acts, and that it will be responsible for complying with all Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to the withholding of income taxes, Social Security and unemployment compensation payments of its employees. Contractor will furnish Owner a Certificate of Insurance, performance and payment bonds, and evidence of required general contractor licensing, all acceptable to Owner, at the time of execution of this Agreement. Contractor warrants and agrees that it and its employees shall at all times observe and comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the United States and of any state, county, or city having jurisdiction of the place where any word hereunder is being done.
Warranty
__Contractor shall provide warranty (material and labor) for twenty (20) years to commence upon substantial completion of work as determined and sign off by PM.ÌýÌý

Note: All work is to be performed during normal working hours. Unless otherwise stated, any and all overtime is excluded from this project.
